A must for any Rap Fan
I was passing through California this weekend and stopped at a Car Show in Imperial where the Mayan All Stars were performing. There was about 4000 people in the stands. They performed and I bought the CD afterward. As I continued my journey back down to Arizona, the smooth hip hop sounds with a slight latin touch carried me all the way home. I'll take this CD on all road trips and use it for Frat parties at ASU too. ... Read more

change is good
In light of the recent events surrounding this artist. It is easy to see why Carlos Coy better known as South Park Mexican. Has been unable to achieve the fame he so frequently talks about in his music. With this his Fourth release on his own independent label (Dope house records). This artist has yet to achieve gold let alone platinum status. From start to finish Spm is constantly out shined by his peers. He tends to follow the same format as with all his previous releases. Una Musica Salvaje!
Para empezar, este grupo ya han lanzado 4 discos en total. Ser Humano (1997), Decision (1999), Retorno de Misericordia (2001) y Patron del Vicio (2003). Amazon.com debe importarlos para que ustedes, los verdaderos fanaticos del rap/hip-hop latino, los pueden comprar porque ellos son unos raperos pioneros de Chile.

De incluso, vea mi lista de grupos del verdadero rap en espanol. Tambien, existe un monton de grupos de Puerto Rico y Espana; pero ustedes mismos los tienen que conseguir porque no son faciles de encontrar.

Tiro de Gracia are one of the few talents that came this far. But one of the first groups that came out of the (gettho) of Chile. Mixxing west-cost, salsa, jazz, and party flowing beats. All these element of music make hip-hop be the new form of music for this generation. Lirics are on point, making you use conscienceness; for example "Viaje sin Rumbo and Leyenda Negra." Talking about a reality that people must keep. That defines what Tiro de Gracia. A True Taste of Chilean Hip-Hop... Also there is track with 10 other MC. "female mc. too" they are really ripping-it. Yeah Baby.

Rap en Espanol
For a little time now, Hip-Hop in Latin America has been mostly an underground thing but with time many groups have come into being. With the success of groups like Control Machete and Molotov, it was only a matter of time before a group of this calibur would come along. This band from Chile exerts a great amount of lyrical skill mixed with some tight beats and samples. Definitely a must for any Hip-Hop fan. There's a mix of G-funk with some east coast pure Hip-Hop that clearly shows the influence of all groups from the states in this band. Tiro de Gracia was definitely one of the first groups to make a name for themselves in this genre (which is put in the Latin Alternative/Rock en Espanol), especially considering that Hip-Hop is huge in Chile and Argentina. Songs like "El Juego Verdadero" , "Viaje Sin Rumbo" , "Chupacabras" show a variety in this group's spontaneity. They also do play instruments. Great debut CD from this band from Santiago. One can only wish that this album was released earlier in the US, it came out in 97 in Chile. They already have a new album out right now in Chile.
