I liked it the first time i heard it. I especially liked the fast rapping by them.

It's alright
I don't know of many people who actually have this cd. It isn't all that good, the songs are but it's a pretty old compilation from the Sawed Off camp. Knightowl has released much better compilations than this, get it if you want. Fans of Sawed Off Records and rappers like Mr. Shadow, Mr. Lil One and Slush should get this, but I wouldn't label this anywhere close to a great compilation. Su Mejor Disco
Contiene majormente tracks del album anterior "The Prophecy" lanzado solamente tres o cuatro meses antes. Tambien interpretan lo que han contribuhido en The Noise y Playero. El sonido en vivo suena exelente.

real music with a purpose
I just saw Ozomatli live, and let me say they come through live as this cd does! Many hits here are a fusion of rock, salsa, rap, flamenco. They are the kings of fusion, and that's what you'll get here. Just to say the least they are all amazing musicians, singing catchy and fun danceable rhythms.

this is an excellent album
i'm not a huge hip-hop or salsa or rap fan, but MAN is this a great album! if you want an album with great harmonies that'll make you want to move in your chair, this is it.J5 fans out there will also enjoy a lot of this.

Ozo-mazing!
I would recommend this CD to anyone looking for some very danceable Latin Hip-Hop. Latin Hip-Hop! What's that? Well, take a regular Latin dance band and throw in a DJ and MC. The playing is superb, the songs are very hip, and the message is both playful and socially aware.

The extra 2 live tracks are definately worth it. 'Cut Chemist Suite' is amazing! You can hear the interplay between Chali 2Na and the group, and then the tabla player and the DJ have an amazing 'battle'.

Buy this now, and get in on the ground floor. Ozomatli is going to be huge!

Perfect blend of Afrocuban Jazz, Hip-Hop and Electronica
I bought this CD for the track "Cut Chemist Suite," and expected the rest of the CD to be of the mostly hip-hop persuasion, with the turntable wizardry of Cut Chemist and the Lyrical Flava of Tuna Fish. To my suprise and delight, half the CD is more Afrocuban Jazz than Acid Jazz. I really dig Tuna Fish's lyrics and his style, and the music on the disc is fantastic. If you appreciate music that isn't influenced by the commercial Backstreet Boys, Jay-Z, DMX Britney Spears music scene, then this CD is a must have. Trust me its is worth it buying it
This cd is really tight and it also features slush the villian and it gots some really cool beats and smart lyrics.

This CD is the hardest one from the owl.
I bought this cd when it first came out afew years ago.I listend to it and compared it with the "The KnightOwl",and "Wicked West". This Cd is way much better he features Slush the villain and Bokie loc. I like this cd because KnightOwl went back to Familia Records. And be bacause the beats are hard just like the Owls lyrics.You must get this Cd if your an owl fan and if you havent ever heard of this man, trust me get this its worth your money.

I heard alot about this Demonio guy while I was on the Westcoast doing a story about Latino's in the Rap game. Everyone I talked to said I should checkout his album "In Memory Of...", so I bought the CD. After listing to his music I have to say that El Demonio's super deep and all heart. His writing was great and the topics he was writing about was refreshing. Great Album!!! The songs "BABY GIRL", "PLAY ON" and "BEYOND THE WALLS" are even better then great, they are moving...soul touching. The album features Frost, Lighter Shade Of Brown, N2Deep, Baby Beesh of Latino Velvet and more. El Demonio is a real up and comer. Trust me when I say...buy this album, you won't be let down!!!
