BUY THIS CD FOR THE VINTAGE 80'S. TAPPS'S TWO JAMS ARE ENOUGH TO BUY THE WHOLE CD. "MY FORBIDDEN LOVER" AND "BURNING WITH FIRE" ARE JAMS THAT ALWAYS BROUGHT DOWN THE HOUSE IN THE 80'S. THESE SONGS WERE AHEAD OF THEIR TIME. THEY BOTH HAVE GREAT LYRICS AND COOL DANCE BEATS, THEY BOTH HAVE THEIR OWN UNIQUE SOUND, BOTH ARE VERY HYPNOTIC. A swell collection, but SIXTY BUCKS?
No offense to the Marketplace seller listing this for $59.99, but I found it used for $4.95! Who knew it was such a deal! As a disco addict, I know the song lengths are important to know, so here they are:

Looks like 12" and LP versions were used where possible. The series earns points for including songs off the beaten path along with some beaten deep, deep into the path (The Hustle again? It's on every disco comp ever made...) There are also informative liner notes that devote a paragraph to every song. Slap this into your new-fangled, anti-skip portable CD player, lace up your roller skates (not them inline things) and skate back to Venice Boardwalk nirvana.

While these songs appear on many different Disco and Dance collections separately, this particular collection makes for a great skate workout on one solid collection. This disc would have been right at home at Flippers. ... Read more
