Enjoyable for everyone
We just received this and I am so pleased. My boys (2 and 3) love it and I do too. There are kiddie favorites sung by characters and kids and there are also some traditional favorites that are just beautiful. It's a great combination of all of the favorites

This Disney cd has just been released in time for the holidays and we recommend it highly at the Disney Echo Online Magazine! It's a combination of carols sung by Disney characters like Mickey and Minnie and beautiful versions of traditional carols. It's also the first Disney Christmas collection I've seen in a long time that has traditional christian standards on it too! Hey howdy hey, all you deputies out there! Now you can have as much fun as Andy does with Buzz and Woody in this activity pack that's chock full of arcade games and printable art. Most of the games have a theme found within the movie; you'll even get to play "dodge the traffic" hidden inside road cones! There's also a hilarious trek through the luggage carousel with Buzz on a hunt to rescue Woody, and it's trickier than you might think.

All the games have adjustable levels of difficulty (so kids can play at more advanced levels, while you putter around as a beginner, 'cause let's face it, they're better at these things than parents are!). One of the elements that kids can print is a fantastic colorable comic book featuring all of Andy's toys. Even those goofy three-eyed aliens put in an appearance! Also ready-to-print are posters, stickers, and greeting cards; a birthday party could easily be decorated with the stuff within Activity Center.

Won't install under Win XP
The disneyinteractive.com customer support section has an entry for the problem but no solution. Calling their 888 number you learn that you need to send your CD-ROM (with a receipt) in to Disney for a swap. Apparently the problem is so ingrained in the software that it can't be published on the internet as an update. What a drag!

ALL of my kids love this game!
I have three kids who LOVE this game. (A 5,7 and 9 year old.) It is fun and entertaining for all of them! My 7 and 9 year old girls especially like the "Comic Book Creator" My 5 year old son likes all the games,especially "Traffic Cones" and "The Toy Shelf" I have caught him laughing and having lots of fun when he plays! Based on my childrens reaction I Highly recommend this one! If you are looking for a fun game and love Toy Story, BUY THIS!

Don't Buy It!
I'm with the majority on this one. This is a TERRIBLE program, well below the standards you would normally associate with the Disney brand. My 4 year-old, who is well-versed in children's computer software, lost interest almost immediately. The games are boring, lack depth and replay value, and are difficult to operate--most use the arrow keys to navigate instead of the mouse or track ball which we use. The printing projects lack choices, although they do produce nice output. All in all, a major disappointment.

On the other hand, the Lion King 2 Activity Center program which we bought at the same time is excellent. I think that the reason for the inconsistency is that while these programs are commissioned and marketed by Disney Interactive, they are actually produced by different independent developers who apparently have a great deal of latitute in determining what goes into the finished product. Disney needs to exert more control on product definition and quality control if they want to avoid another black eye like this one.

Fun and challenging!
I can't believe anyone had anything negative to say about this game - it's GREAT!!!! It has four fun games, and each one has three levels of difficulty. The games all relate to the movie, which my son really likes. It's a bit too advanced for my 3-year-old at this point, but he can do the easiest level of the cone game (getting the cones across a street while avoiding oncoming cars), and I help him play the other games. I think when he's about five he'll be more able to play it. It's VERY educational in the sense that the games require good memory, logical thinking, and strategy, anticipating the next several moves you should make. I'm 35 years old and no dummy, but the luggage game (a series of 10 mazes) took me about 30 tries before I could win! The first few mazes were easy, but they got progressively harder, with booby traps and decoy cases. Each time you play, you have to remember which way was the right way to go in each maze, or you can get trapped. Honestly, it's a LOT of fun! The "critter corral" game is a bit like checkers. The first level is easy, level two is more challenging, and level 3 is VERY hard - again, I'm an adult, and it's taking me lots of practice to learn how to beat it! The Toy Shelf game is a fun arcade game. The only weak spots are the two art sections, but all in all, I think it's definitely worth the money for four fun, challenging games that are entertaining for kids OR adults. We got the game four days ago, and my son still asks for it immediately when he wakes up in the morning, and wants to play it three or four times a day.

Loser
My 4 year-old (who is great at playing cd games) lost interest in 10 minutes. This is a badly designed game with minimal graphics and no story. There are a few games like "print" where you click on something and it prints...you don't even get to choose the character. The cone crossing game uses the arrow keys, not the mouse. And it crashes badly on the Mac. It is very un-Mac like. Too bad, we are such great fans of the movie. But save your money here. ... Read more

Jugar y Cantar y Recordar
Bellísimo. I love this CD. It is my favorite children's CD and my kids complain about me playing it all the time. The music is catchy and contemporary, the singing is great, and the songs are all the ones I grew up with. This CD makes a great gift for Spanish speakers, and for those who want to learn Spanish.

Though it may not appeal to many adult gamers, Disney's Toy Story 2 Action Game is a solid arcade game. The title combines the style and humor of the movie with 3-D platform-game elements you would normally find in a video game. In fact, the exact same game is also available for the PlayStation and Nintendo 64 game consoles, and its video-game roots are often clearly visible.

Players take control of Buzz Lightyear in his quest to rescue Woody from the evil clutches of Al, the toy collector. The game is played from a third-person perspective and is more like Super Mario 64 than Tomb Raider. Many of the 15 levels--most of which revolve around actual locations from the movie--are straightforward, but offer numerous bonus items and secret areas to explore. In order to make it through the entire game, Buzz has to perform many difficult jumps, climb trees, zap evil toys with his laser, and interact with all of his toy pals to get clues.

Much like the movie, the game's primary audience is kids (ages 8 and older); adults may tire of the arcade-style jumping and climbing action in short order. Still, for parents searching for a family-friendly computer game--and one that wonderfully re-creates the environments and characters of a great Disney movie--Toy Story 2 Action Game is a great bet. --Michael E. an ok game
toy story 2 is ok but it's kind of hard for me.
i'm still stuck on alleys and gulleys!

Made for PlayStation, not PC
I saw one review here that said" buzz is extremly hard to control" and "I can't see an 8 year old getting past it." I agree! Buzz IS extremly hard to control, it's probably easier on a PlayStation, and I'm 13 and this game is even hard for ME! I usually get used to a new game in no time, but this was real hard.
Other than that, pleasant music, good graphics and fun levels. Get it if you like unbelivably hard games.
Oh, PS. I noticed most of you give it one star because"it keeps shutting down". IT'S NOT THE GAME! IT'S YOUR COMPUTER! You need to update it.

Same as the N64 game
I bought this at a 'going out of business' sale at a local store.My kids were about to upgrade to Gamecube and this was one of the games they didn't want to lose, but would.I was pleasantly suprised that this is the exact same game!I was only hoping to kind of fill the gap, not completely!It is difficult to play on the computer without a gamepad controller though, not a big deal.

Cool Album
This is an awsome cd! The kids don't have the best voices, but they have fun singigng. Plus, the lead vocalists are great. They should all have solo albums out, they're so good.

WHY DO YALL PEOPLE LIKE THIS CD AND NOT KIDZ BOP? IT IS BEYOND ME. THIS CD DOES NOT HAVE GOOD SONGS. KIDZ BOP HAS BETTER SONGS. SO WHAT IF THIS CD HAS SOME FAMOUS SINGER THAT SOUNDS GOOD. THIS CD IS EXPENSIVE AND STUPID. I HATE IT.

I just wanted to say that this cd is awesome. Renee Sandstrom does have cds, she is in the group Wild Orchid, who just recently released their fourth album available at their website: www.wildorchid.com. if you like her voice on this cd, check out Wild Orchids, they are the most talented group out there.

Some pleasant surprises.
Obviously this cd is only intended for children, but adults will most likely enjoy the cd just as well. Included are some of today's biggest pop hits like Miss Independent, A Thousand Miles, Jenny From the Block, and Complicated. The kids are having a ball, and while they don't sing that great, kids will love singing along. What I found most surprising was the lead vocals by the adults, who actually sing the song better than the original artists in some cases. Most notebly the beautiful voice of Renee Sandstrom. It's one of purest voices I have ever heard. Why JLO and Avril have solo albums out and not this girl, is beyond me. Hopefully we will be hearing more from this talented singer.

Superstar Kidz rules!
If you like Kidz Bop, you're gonna LOVE Superstar Kidz!!! The kids sound amazing and the songs sound just as good as the originals. It's by far the best album I've heard that have kids singing plus it has all the songs I already know from Radio Disney. Even my mom and dad think this is a pretty cool CD.

Maryland Mom
I drive my two kids (ages 2 and 4) to daycare back and forth every day - about a 20 min. drive each way. They are fully entertained with this CD. They really enjoy it. I also have volumes 2-4, and they're all good. Mr. Croce sings most of the songs so that does get a little old, but his voice is pleasing enough that I enjoy listening to these songs too. I recommend these CD's to anyone who has long (or short) trips in the car with small children.

Great Sing Along Primer
This CD contains songs familiar to the baby boom generation who were raised prior to MTV. The recordings are mixed well, and the lyrics are easily understood. We find ourselves listening to the same songs without boredom. Our daughter seems to enjoy them as much as her parents. This is our favorite of the four Disney CD's.

A wonderful children's tape
I got this as a little kid and loved it. The songs are wonderful. It is a must for every kid's music collection! As an adult I dug the tape out and used it in my classroom, where I worked as a preschool teacher. THe songs are wonderful and delightful for every generation! ... Read more

A great CD!
My one-year-old little girl loves this CD. I love the fact that some of the songs are sung by the Disney characters. This CD has been a lifesaver on road trips. As soon as I play it, my little girl stops fussing! Overall, this is a great CD.

Merely okay
I must admit that I was a little disappointed in this CD. It does have a number of kids' favorites, mostly sung by familiar Disney characters such as Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Donald, Daisy and Ludwig Von Drake. Good, but not great, Compilation of great Disney Songs
This compilation of Disney Songs from the 90's to the present time is very good, most of the best Pop latin and international stars sing the original spanish versions of the songs of the best Disney musicals. So far, the track list is as follows:

TOOOOO EASY!!!
This Millionaire Sports is for dummies. The questions are so so easy. I won the million the very first time I played it. I don't even watch any sports at all! I even had a five year old play this game and he even one the million the first time. This software is no challenge at all. Big Letdown
Even though the first two games had thier drawbacks this takes the cake as being the worst in the seires. Iwas excited when I first got this game but right from the start I knew I hated it. I love sports but they should never try this again. First of all the game is so slow not only the intro this time but everything and they give info after some questions to tell you why it is right. Regis goes back to his old tactics crude, annyoing, and obnoxcious. The questions repeat so it is easy to win the million. I was disgusted with this game. This is basically the first edition but somehow worse. Don't get this game it's a waste.

Great game!
We've really enjoyed this game since we got it.I like that the Fastest Finger is better now - the way it was on the first one didn't make any sense.The questions can get tough but, hey, you don't want to win every time, right?A very cool game for sports fans but if you aren't into sports, stick with the regular game - you won't get far on this one!

not a million-dollar winner
On one hand, the questions are HARD. Harder than the WWTBAM 2nd edition. And they are varied in breadth and scope. On the other hand, the game engine tends to repeat questions much more quickly than WWTBAM2. Plus some of the musical cues (the ones which play before a question is displayed, to be precise) are missing. However, for the entertainment value, it's a pretty good buy. A Kid's Classic
This tape is full of fun bubble-gum type pop featuring the Disney cast. As child I listened to this tape constantly, and I still know every word. This is an album for kids of all ages who love Mickey and Minnie.

Blast from the Past.
ROCK AROUND THE MOUSE was originally released on vinyl and cassette about fifteen years ago. It and many other albums like it have recently been re-release on cd by Walt Disney Records. The album contains 10 original songs written in a 1950's be-bop or oldies styles. The title song, "Rock Around the Mouse" takes it's name from the classic "Rock Around the House", but besides the play on the words of the title, it doesn't resemble "House" at all. Most of the songs have Disney characters (Micky, Minnie, Donald, Daisy, Huey, Duey, and Luey) singing the lyrics and are sometimes joined by a chorus. Little Richard sings the fifth track on the album, "Gawrsh Golly Goofy". My favorite songs on the album are:

"Pinocchio's Boogie"

"Mickey Motion"

"Go Go Go"

"Everything Is Ducky with Donald"

ROCK AROUND THE MOUSE is an album that kids will problem enjoy listening to and unless parent's have an aversion to Disney or oldies, probably won't mind hearing it either. I've played a few tunes from the album on the webradio show and the music fits the format of "The TV Show" nicely.

Cutesy music, from my childhood

LOVE THIS CD!
This is my daughter's favorite CD. I used to play it every time I'd change her diaper. Now we play it during breakfast and lunch. She's 9 months old, and started swaying (aka 'dancing') to it. It was the cutest thing!!!

She recognizes pooh bear because when we played the cd, I would make her pooh bear dance (and poke the belly when he's "stuffed with fluff") :)

The only thing I don't like is the 'real people' singing at the end. I can do without that. It's good music, but I like the cute kid's versions better. We usually stop the CD after the first couple of real people singing.

I *highly* recommend it though.
