3-0 out of 5 stars A CD that would have been great if it were complete.
I am a Disney fan. I admit it freely and without shame. So naturally when I saw this album I decided that I had to have it. It starts off great, with the modern Lion King and other Disney favorites, in all their radio version glory. Unfortunately, there is a notable gap in the playlist. The cd does not include the Beauty and the Beast duet, which is one of the best radion version Disney songs out there. And I also was disappointed to see the caliber of the songs degrade as the cd progressed. The last few songs on the cd were not worth hearing, and certainly do not deserve to be considered the Greatest pop hits. I was annoyed enough to burn the songs I liked and add Beauty and the Beast and You'll Be in My Heart from Tarzan, creating a cd that truly deserved the name Greatest Pop Hits.

5-0 out of 5 stars Really, Really Good
I thought this CD is very, very good. I really have the tape verison I got for my bithday but it's the same thing. It has songs from the movies The Lion King, Aladdin, Pocahontas, Toy Story, Cinderella, Hercules, and others. And different artists Elton John, Venessa Williams, Peabo Bryson, Regina Belle Randy Newmen, Lyle Lovett, Jon Secada, Linda Ronstadt, Donna Summer, Jimmy Cliff and many others. I think this cd or tape is really good for little kids who like the movies the songs on this cd(or tape) are from. I recommed this cd(or tape) for any age but more little kids. Most of songs on this cd are beautiful or fun to lesson to or sing along. It has the song If I Never Knew You that was cut out from the movie Pocahontas! Buy it Today.

3-0 out of 5 stars Really good
Cute tape. Nice songs. I agree with the person who said they wished "Beauty and the Beast" featuring Celine Dion was on there. "Never Alone" is so sweet you could cry. The best-ever Elton songs, "Circle" and "Can You Feel" are on here, and so is the so-beautiful "Colors of the Wind" by Vanessa Williams. If you are a fan of pop, Disney or both, get this CD today!

5-0 out of 5 stars Great....prefer pop songs to the actual movie songs.
I don't know about all you people all there, adults and children alike, but I thought that the Disney songs in the movie were dull and boring. However, when I got this CD out of a GOOD recommendation, I noticed these songs were from the ending credits, beginning credits, etc. (Which were the exact songs I enjoyed the most!) I especially liked several of the songs on this album including "Can you feel the love tonight" from Elton John; "Whole New World" from Peabo Bryson and Regina Belle; "Circle of Life" from Elton John again; "Colors of the Wind" from Vanessa Williams; "Go the Distance" from Michael Bolton; "If I never knew you" from Jon Secada and Shanice. These six songs were the best on the album, and it is definetely worth your money.

However, if you like the songs in the actual MOVIE itself (not ending/beginning credits); May I suggest the Classic Disney albums. This album series has five, I believe, in its series. I do not suggest wasting your money and buying all of them. I especially liked the 1st and 2nd album; you may also take a look at the most recent (the 5th album). Great stuff, don't miss out.

4-0 out of 5 stars It was great except that it lacked one great song.
I really enjoyed this album a lot, but I never heard the song sung by Celine Diona and Peobo Bryson, the ultimately beautiful Beauty and the Beast ballad. Why is that song not on this album? Other than that, I felt that this album was spectacular. ... Read more

Young fans of Jim Henson and the Disney Channel's Bear in the Big Blue House will revel in this holiday celebration of 20 short seasonal songs exuberantly sung by gentle Bear and other characters like Doc Hogg and the raspy-voiced mouse, Tutter. Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Kwanzaa are represented here in eclectic songs that range from triumphant ("A Berry Bear Christmas") to soothing ("Just Listen") to forlornly earnest (Jack the hound singing "The Best Present Ever") to a happy medley, "The Woodland Valley Carols," that indulges in holiday twists such as "Oh, come all ye otters" and "On the fifth day of Clamsmas." In "That's All I Want for Christmas," Santa Hogg takes requests for "tons and tons of cheese" and "a hundred trillion clams." A real favorite is the jazzy "Bat Dance" by Robert and Deena Cole: "You see, it's all in the wings." A wonderful quality to all the songs is that they're clearly enunciated by the motley crew of fuzzy characters, so kids can actually hear the words. Heartfelt holiday cheer abounds in Peter Lurye's impressive production that surely rivals the Muppets in inventiveness and kid appeal. Start listening to the Halloween songs in October and you and your kids will have the whole CD memorized by Christmas! --Karin Snelson ... Read more

Though it's neither as comprehensive nor as elegantly presented as The Music of Disney: A Legacy in Song, this compilation is an enjoyable sampler of music from Disneyland and Walt Disney World. Naturally, the music's good for reliving memories of the parks, but when listened to at home, the best selections reveal previously unnoticed complexity. The oldest recordings, like "The Tiki Tiki Room" and "Grim Grinning Ghosts" (from the Haunted Mansion ride), are seamless show tunes that grapple inventively with the limitations of analog and mono. And the Main Street Electrical Parade theme song is a freaked-out Moog marathon that must be heard to be believed. This disc offers one of the best uses yet for your CD player's "program" function--pick out the songs like you'd pick out a ride, and never wait in line! --John Sanchez ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars The Best of Disney on CD
This is one album that should not be missed! In 1996, the Main Street Electrical Parade "glowed away," but it is preserved here in the CD. Funny thing is, the Electrical Parade was replaced by the disappointing Light Magic Parade, and, at the time of pressing the CD, the Light Magic music is also included in the CD as well. On the more positive side, Grim Grinning Ghosts (Haunted Mansion) and Yo Ho [A Pirate's Life for Me] (Pirates of the Carribean) are a part of this excellent CD. If there is one track that stands out, it's the Space Mountain track. Remember the opening music to the movie "Pulp Fiction" with the surf guitar? That was performed by Dick Dale. Well, Mr. Dale and his long-time collaborator Aarin Richard have written and performed the Space Mountain track! Yes, many do not know about this, so here's a piece of trivia that you can throw out at your next Disney gathering, party, etc.

CHECK IT OUT! IT IS NOT TO BE MISSED!!

5-0 out of 5 stars A Must Hear
The Disneyland/Disney World official album is a definite must hear! It has the sounds and music from most favorite Disney theme park attractions and shows, even from ones that have retired. I especially like the Space Mountain soundtrack on this CD. It is one way to hear this ride's music when you are miles away from Disneyland! It's a good one to have when you've been on Space Mountain when the music was inoperable on the ride, but you still want to hear what the music sounds like. Lastly, it makes me want to go back to Disneyland to listen to the entire CD. I hope more people can be fortunate enough to own it.

4-0 out of 5 stars Great Disney CD
This is a great album for any Disney fan to have. The CD features a variety of brief excerpts from the musical loops of beloved attractions from Disneyland and Walt Disney World's Magic Kingdom such as "The Haunted Mansion", "Pirates of the Caribbean", and "Splash Mountain". It also includes music from a few of Disney's famous nighttime spectaculars including "Fantasmic", the "Main Street Electrical Parade", and "Illuminations". One highlight of the CD is the entire musical loop from the Disneyland Night Parade "Light Magic". While the parade proved to be unpopular and only ran for about a year, the music is great, mixing classic Disney songs such as "Be Our Guest" and "Step In Time" with Irish step dancing music a la Riverdance. While I would recommend either the official album for Disneyland and official album for Walt Disney World that is sold exclusively at the parks before recommending this one, I do think this is a great album as well and defiantly worth purchasing.

4-0 out of 5 stars Without The Standing In Line
A good sampler of the theme park music, a mixture of the oldies and the newer music (Light Magic and Illuminations). The sound on the more modern music is excellent. In the 60s, there was a full album of It's A Small World featuring the songs sung in all of the different languages. Wonder if that will ever resurface again on CD?

4-0 out of 5 stars Good But Not Great
I bought this album after buying the Walt Disney World Millennium Celebration album (which is great). I wanted to get the music for the rest of the Disney World night shows... the Main Street Electrical Parade and Fantasmic! The Official Album is good, but it is a little out of date... IllumiNations now is Reflections of Earth and, unless my memory deceives me, the Electrical Light Parade music at the World was different from what is on this album. There are a number of good songs on the album, but as the Amazon review suggests you'll want to program your player to just pick out the best. ... Read more

It's not what you're thinking: No Mickey squeaking out Ralph Stanley songs, no picking and grinning Goofy, no banjo-wielding Pluto woofing mountain music. Instead, O Mickey assembles a first-rate cast of country players for a down-home roundup of Disney covers, from Collin Raye's "Circle of Life" to Ronnie Milsap's "When You Wish Upon a Star" to Stonewall Jackson's warm "The Bare Necessities." It works, based not only on performances by the better-known artists (Charlie Louvin included), but also a couple of bona fide instrumental boot-stompers--"Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious" gets the dueling fiddles treatment, and "The Mickey Mouse Club March" medley lock-steps it to mandolin and Dobro. Directing bluebirds squarely to shoulders is Elizabeth Cook's breezy "Zip-a-Dee-Doo-Dah," but if there's a shortcoming here it's the blurring of country and bluegrass, a muddling of styles apt to get any self-respecting Soggy Bottom Boy's britches in a twist. --Tammy La Gorce ... 2-0 out of 5 stars Oh, give me a break!
Bluegrass??? Collin Raye and Ronnie Milsap? Stonewall Jackson and Charlie Louvin? Sonya Isaacs? Robbie Fulks?? Uh, I don't think so. Well, aside from the cheesy opportunism of Disney trying to latch onto the "O Brother Where Art Thou" bandwagon, I guess this is an okay album. A lot of the more modern, crappy soundtrack themes ("You'll Be In My Heart," "Circle Of Life," etc.) are included, and an near-equal amount of oldies ("Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious," "Zip-A-Dee-Doo-Dah," et al) and while there are a couple of instrumentals (giving slight plausibility to the "bluegrass" claim), for the most part this is a fairly twangless album. I was happy to see the squeeky-voiced hillbilly filly Elizabeth Cook on here, even though her track doesn't highlight her strengths that well. Mostly this is pretty iffy. One thing this most definitely is not: a bluegrass record. For that, try some old Stanley Brothers, or something new by Del McCoury or James King.

5-0 out of 5 stars Oh Mickey , you're so fine
A wonderful feelgood album . The best track on it without a doubt is You'll be in my heart by Kevin Montgomery . Go to see him in concert and ask him to play it for you . Tell him Andy sent you !!

5-0 out of 5 stars happiest music on earth
Elizabeth Cook's version of "Zip-A-Dee-Doo-Dah" alone is worth the price of this CD. And then there are eleven icing-on-the-cake foot-tapping tunes! Collin Raye's "Circle of Life" is the very best version of this song, of which all versions are great, because it's the one that makes you want to dance. There are also moving ballads, like "Baby Mine" and "When She Loved Me." No one can listen to "The Bare Necessities" or "When I See an Elephant Fly" and not smile. Anyone who enjoys cheerful, happy-go-lucky music will adore this CD.

5-0 out of 5 stars You will love it
My wife saw the title and said, "I don't want to hear it, since all the songs will sound like the music heard while standing in line at Disney World!" Well now she loves it, and so do I. Quite of good job of arranging and producing a very good album. It'll be a great addition to the library of both bluegrass fans as well as Disney lovers.

5-0 out of 5 stars I love it!
I first heard of this album last week while listening to Sunday Night Grass on a local Bluegrass station. I was ready to change the channel (thinking that it was going to be horrible) when they began to play "Baby Mine". I was instantly hooked! I cannot believe how good this album is! What a wonderful idea--Disney music turning Bluegrass! I highly recommend it. ... Read more

3-0 out of 5 stars Vol. 2 is good, but not the best.
I have owned all four volumes of the Disney Children's Favorite Songs since I was three years old, and although this one is enjoyable, I think it is probably the poorest of the four. The songs just aren't as much fun to listen to as on the others, and I recall that one of them, "Old Blue," in particular, used to frighten me when I first got the tape because the singer sings that his dog died. Well, I'm over that fear now *muffles a sob* but I still don't think this tape is the best one to start off with. I'd advise buying all four volumes together, and if you only want to buy one, get Vol. 4. It's undoubtedly the best.

5-0 out of 5 stars Love it!
What a great cd! I have wasted so much money on cd's that say they have the traditional versions of the songs only to end up with real rubbish with electric guitars, distortion and rap!! Its enough to drive parent. . . and child . . .insane! This collection is absolutely wonderful. The songs are the ones you grew up with, sung in a way that encourages sing-alongs. I'm getting a second copy for the car!

5-0 out of 5 stars Absolute magic
My sons adore this CD. They ask to listen to it all the time! There are enough songs here and of different styles to keep them entertained. Well recorded and performed. We can highly recommend it...

5-0 out of 5 stars This is a must buy!!!!
As metioned above, I too had 4 volumes of Disney classics on record, but when I was 16, lent them to a friend.. You know the story, never got them back. These classics will be well worth your time, and they are not corny like some children's CD's I now have. It will be a worthwhile investment. :-)

5-0 out of 5 stars Withstands the test of time
I first heard this album back when vinyl was in and cassettes were not yet popular. My mother had bought it for me and I played it over and over on my Fisher-Price record player. I was in love with it back then and still love it now. I pull it out every once in a while when I go to my parents house and feel like reminising. I recommended it to every one I know who has children and I plan on getting a copy myself when I have kids of my own (I might not even wait until then to get it). Some people might be disappointed because it doesn't actually have any of the Disney characters singing, but don't let that deter you from buying it. It's a great collection. ... Read more

This CD-ROM may end up being your child's best friend as he or she usespuppy power to devour bones, rescue fellow pups, and ultimately defeat the womandogs love to hate, Cruella De Vil. Cruella is about to go bankrupt because hernew line of toys has failed miserably: kids would rather play with their petsthan Cruella's creations. So she reprograms her toys, transforming them fromheaps of shiny junk into robot pet-nappers.

Kids can assume the identity of Domino, a boy pup, or Oddball, a spot-free girlDalmatian puppy, and set out to rescue fellow puppies. The puppies are stashedin crates in 16 locations that are increasingly difficult to navigate: whenpups--er, kids--collect enough bones, rescue enough puppies, and stay away fromCruella's minions successfully, they move up a level of play and on to adifferent location. A toy store, the inside of Big Ben, and Piccadilly Circusare just a few of the places that must be thoroughly sniffed around beforecompleting the game's big goal: a battle with Cruella herself.

Other critters bearing clues, buried treasures, slick surfaces, and additionalopportunities to solve problems make Puppies to the Rescue a realtail-wagger. There are mini-games hidden within some levels that can be accessedseparately, a sticker book that kids can piece together as they collect stickerson their puppy quest, and animated sequences that reward problem-solving andmove the plot forward. The cute-as-heck puppy actions will please parents whoprefer no violence; kids can make the pups run, jump, sniff, dig, and tumble, but the most destructive weapon these pups have is their toy-destroying bark.

This CD-ROM is Windows only, and movement through the program is by keyboard orgame pad; thankfully, the keying is more intuitive than some of Disney's otherrecent offerings. And unlike some movie tie-ins, this spot-on game does justiceto Disney's beloved Dalmatian franchise. (Ages 8 and older) --AnneErickson ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars My 6 year old and I play this together
This game is fun, fun, fun. I bought it for my six year old a few days ago, and we've put hours into it already. On the PC, it takes a moderate amount of coordination to bounce and jump, but we have cleared all 100 bones out two levels so far and have enjoyed every minute.

I bought this game in a Disney Dalmation 3-pak, and wasn't expecting much. But this is the only game we've played out of the three, so the other two are just gravy.

Highly recommended!

5-0 out of 5 stars Great game !!!
This is a wonderful game. I've got 3 kids aged 5,4 & 3. The cd contains the main game and some mini fun games.
In the main game, the levels open up as you go along. Controlling the puppy is not east at first though can be mastered with some practice - My 5 year old plays this a lot. It's too hard for the other two.
At the beginning only one minigame is available - The classic memory game !!!
Both my 4 and 5 year olds love it. More mini games become available as you advance in the main game.

My 3 year old is too young too play but she LOVES TOO WATCH.
Overall, I truely recommend this game which I've had the pleasure to play a bit myself after putting the kids to sleep...
You've got plenty of levels too complete so it should keep you busy for quite a while...
Great 3d graphics !!!

Thank you Disney interactive...

5-0 out of 5 stars Toy Story Guy
I owned one of these and am buying another one. My son is a toy story addict. He broke the CD by accident and used the tape until it wore thru. For any kid who likes the READ-ALONG tapes this is a MUST HAVE!
Not only can you use the CD in your computer as a book on the computer but you can also play it in your regular CD player. There is a cassette too for those time when a CD player is not available. This is a very versitile set. It is not an inter-active computer storybook- just a read along book but it is still fun for the kids who like to read but just aren't quite old enough to do it by themselves yet.

2-0 out of 5 stars Not great for my daughters attention span.
When I opened this and popped it in the computer I was pretty disappointed. I didn't realize it when I bought it but it is NOT an Animated Storybook. The still pictures hardly keep my daughters attention. Kid's like things that move and this storybook has minimal movement. The other disappointment was that it is narrated by one person instead of the original character voices. These things have meant that mine will be sitting and collecting dust. It was a complete waste of my money. ... Read more

I already have the Disney Lullaby Album(NOT to be confused with the Disney BABY Lullaby Album!) which I always thought of as THE perfect one, but this one is just as great!! Take it from someone who has been in the child care field for almost 23 years. I have tried them all, and found that this CD, plus the regular Disney Lullaby Album, are THE BEST on the market today! I know for a fact that any tired baby or child will immediatly calm down and fall asleep when this album is played, much much faster than with any other music. I even find if the day is a little on the stress-filled side, putting this on while feeding or playing with them becomes a nice and smooth experience! Amazon.com Review

Here's your chance to reunite online with the entire undersea gang. The Little Mermaid II: Return to the Sea brings Ariel, her daughterMelody, Sebastian, and all the other characters from the two Disney filmsstraight to your computer, in a package of games and activities certain toplease young players.

Return to the Sea features two arcade games--Melody's Daring Dive and TooCool!--and a trio of creativity-oriented activities. In the first game, Melodydives for jewels and pearls while dodging sharks and other hazards. In thesecond, she collects gems in an effort to thaw out a trident, which she mustthen use in battle with the nefarious Morgana. Both games are fast paced andwell designed, boasting 20 levels of difficulty. Unlike some games for this agegroup, these genuinely get harder, ensuring significant replay potential.

The noncompetitive activities include Aquabatics, where players design anunderwater dance show; Mermaid Memories, an interactive sticker book; andMelody's Melodies, a karaoke program featuring two songs from Disney's newestLittle Mermaid film. Setting up the routines in Aquabatics is a lot offun; players can flip and spin their favorite characters in a variety ofswimming twirls. Though almost all games for girls include a program likeMermaid Memories, the one featured in this game is put together extremely well. The backgrounds are flexible, the graphics meld seamlessly into the scenery, andplayers can even add sounds and movements to the scenes they create. Finally,Return to the Sea comes with a second CD-ROM, Ariel's StoryStudio, a gateway to even more undersea adventure.

The one real disappointment of this package is Melody's Melodies, which onlyfeatures two songs and a few simple options for singing them. Kids learning toplay musical instruments might also notice that the presentation of the musicisn't correctly laid out on the staff. However, the program's other delightsmore than compensate for this weakness. Broad enough in scope to ensure wideappeal, and of the highest quality to guarantee player entertainment, Returnto the Sea provides hours of fun for the whole family. --AlyxDellamonica ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Awesome game!
I loved this game. It's completely awesome. This game is wonderful for anyone who loves the Little Mermaid and games that take place in the water. The first game is Melody's Daring Dive and sports 3 levels. The first is Hope Reef which is easy. Next is Quakey Caverns which is a bit harder. An finally there is Pirate Point which is the hardest. The game is introduced by Sebastian. You need to help Melody collect gems below the sea while avoiding sharks, eels, and falling rocks. The next game is Too Cool and is introduced by Ariel. You need to help Melody collect gems in order to unfreeze the trident and zap Morganna. Tip and Dash throw snowballs for you to use to temporarily freeze Morganna and her cohorts. This is a great arcade style game that has twenty levels. The next game is Aquabatics which is introduced by Tip and Dash. This is my favorite game in which you get to organize an undersea dance extravaganza. You pick the dancers, the patterns, the stunts and the music. You can put up to five dancers in at a time. Your dancer choices are Ariel, Melody, Flounder, a turtle, and a dolphin. Next is the picture album where you get to make the scene. You pick the characters, backgrounds, sounds, props, and even special wallpapers. You can then print your picture. The last game is Melody's Melodies and is Karioke style. There are only two songs to choose from but it can be a great learning tool for people who want to learn how to play music as it shows all the notes on a standard staff paper setting. This game rocks and if you think it is only good for kids, let me tell you I am 26 and love it. It's well worth buying.

5-0 out of 5 stars Dive Into A World Of Adventure With Melody!!
I LOVED IT!! I don't know what I would do without it. Now let me tell you about the CD-ROM. In the beginning, you type in your name and after that there is a magical pendant in the shape of a shell. It is open. The top half is games and the bottom half is the credits and stuff like that. Move your curser into the pendant and you will see something. When you click on it, it will take you to an activity.

My favorite game is Too Cool!! It is so much fun!! It is a little bit hard. In this game it's kind of like a maze. You try to gather all of the power crystals to melt the ice around the magical Trident & and zap Morgana through levels 3-20!! Tip: use your snowballs & mermaid potions. But be careful, Morgana only has a LIMITED number of mermaid potions, so don't waste them!!

In Melody's Daring Dive, you need to collect a certain number of gem's to have Melody make different types of jewelry. There are three places you
Can dive at. There's Hope Reef. This is the best place to go diving. Believe
Me I know!! Then there's Quaky Caverns. This is a little harder because there are rock avalanches, bubbles that could blow Melody off course, kelp
That could make you go slower, barracudas, and electric eels!! Then there's
The hardest and scariest of them all, Pirate Point. Here there are all the things that I mentioned before, plus octopuses (but not Morgana and Ursula), and sharks!! But don't worry. When you're riding a dolphin, you can pick
Up a cannon ball and drop it on the shark by hitting the spacebar. Then it will not return.

At Aquabatics, you can pick your own dance moves, designs to put the dancers and moves on, and dancers including Ariel, Melody & Flounder to put on your own show!! Tip the penguin and Dash the walrus are your hosts
in this fun game. You need to create six acts to make you own performance for the merpeople of Atlantica!!

In Mermaid Memories, you can create your own pictures to tell the story of The Little Mermaid 2: Return To The Sea, or just any pictures of the land and sea. You can add your own backgrounds, characters, props, even sounds!! And last, but most certainly not least, Melody's Melodies. Here you can sing along, sing by yourself, or record your own voice to 2 of the songs from the movie. One of them is "Down To The Sea", and the other is
"For A Moment". This isn't one of the better games in here, but if you love to sing like me, than this is the one for you.

This CD-ROM was way more than what I expected. Take my word for it. If you liked Ariel's Story Studio & The Little Mermaid Print Center, you will absolutely love this!!

5-0 out of 5 stars Down To The Sea We Go...
Forteen years ago, Walt Disney Pictures released the ever-popular, (will come out on DVD in 2004) The Little Mermaid. Then, ten years after that, they released the sequel, The Little Marmaid 2: Return to the Sea. Though it could never over-take the original popuarity-wise, it did score this great CD-ROM. Though maybe, & then maybe not, better than the original Little Mermaid CD, Ariel's Story Studio (see my review), this has five entertaining activities. First, there's Melody's Melodies. Here, you can sing all your favorite songs, with or without the characters. There's really not much else to tell about this one, so let's move on. In Aquabatics, you choreograph your own underwater play, with some of your favorite characters, sea turtles, dolphins, Flounder, (how'd he get in there?) and much more! Then, in Mermaid memories, you can create your own sticker-book, and decoraate the pages with scenes from The Little Mermaid 2! I alwayas loved those kinds of games. Next, we have Melody's Daring Dive. Here, help Melody collect jewels, pearls, and all sorts on good things. You better watch out though, for as you progress through levels, it gets harder to find things, you have to go up to get air more often, and there's the ever-looming danger of sharks. Finally, we come to the "piece of resistence." Too Cool! is a maze game where you have to collect crystals to melt the ice surrounding the trident. Once you free the trident, you have to use it to chase after and, oh, how can I put this... FRY Morgana! This game is especially fun, and even more enjoyable and/or challenging as you progress. Overall, this is a great game, but the movie is not as good as the CD-ROM, though. Well, that's it. I hope this Review has helped you annd encourages you to get this CD-ROM.

4-0 out of 5 stars the best of the bunch
This came in a pack with three other princess games. Of the four it is the best with enough different activities to keep the kids amused. There is diving for gems, which has you diving down and having to collect air bubbles to breath while you also pick up gems until you have enough. An arcade type in too cool, a sticker game where you make a picture and the singing which only has two tunes that you can play. The last and probably most interesting was designing the dances and then watching the show, then are several dance patterns that you can add different movements too and two mermaids and three sea creatures that you can choose to dance.
Overall its quite a good game.

5-0 out of 5 stars We love it!
After Little Mermaid, my two girls couldn't get enough of this swimmer. We've had so much use of this CD that it is worn out and will be purchasing another. My 5 yr old especially loves the chase around the iceberg game. The 3 yr old just loves seeing Melody during any of the games and hearing her voice. ... Read more

Hilary Duff, the winsome star of the Disney Channel's Lizzie McGuire, makes her singing debut with a rather frothy mix of original songs and old holiday chestnuts--only these chestnuts aren't roasting on an open fire, they're sugarcoated, like everything else on this pop-light album. Duff, who looks like Jessica Simpson, and sings like Mandy Moore, sticks close to the tried-and-true versions of Santa Claus is Coming To Town," "Jingle Bell Rock, " and Sleigh Ride," adding little to the holiday music canon. The album only perks up when Duff's guests appear:Christina Milian pushes Duff to greater heights on the crisp andrhythmically innovative "I Heard Santa on the Radio," and Lil' Romeo adds some spiky dynamics and humor as he raps through "Tell Me a Story (About the Night Before)." --Jaan Uhelszki ... 3-0 out of 5 stars It's ok! But not great!
This cd of Hilary Duff could be better. I mean when you compare it to Jump5's Christmas album All The Joy In The World this cd sounds awful. I think Hilary needs to stick with acting and loose singing. The ok ones (there really isn't any great ones) are Down Santa Claus Lane, I heard Santa On the radio and When the Snow Comes Down In Tenseltown. The only reason why I bought this cd was that I liked Hilary Duff and know that i have heard her sing i don't. pLus she is making some really stupid descions in life right know and I think shes going to be the next Brittany Spears yuuuuuccccckkkkk!!Trust me if you want a good Christmas cd than this is not it! Check out Jump5 before you get this one.

1-0 out of 5 stars Gave me a Terrible Headache
Hilary Duff is extremly annoying! She should not have even attempted to make this CD! Don't buy this CD, you could throw your money into a fire and put better use to it. HIlary Duff's career is all down hill from here.

5-0 out of 5 stars Another great childrens album by Burl
Originally released on LP in 1964 about the time the movie "Mary Poppins" was released (his versions of the title track and "A Spoonful of Sugar" are on here), this CD features Burl singing mostly Disney classics and other childrens classics such as "Swinging On a Star," "Who's Afraid of The Big Bad Wolf," "Funicula, Funiculi," "Mairzy Doats," plus mice stereo remakes of his own classics "Lavender Blue," and "Polly Wolly Doodle". If you like the elementary level childrens music on the "Little White Duck" CD on Columbia which is available through this site and other stores that sell CD's that are in print and want to go to a higher level, search high and low for this CD at such websites as eBay, GEMM and eBay's Half.com. ... OK, this disc is not the most important Louis Prima album ever, it's not even one of the top five, but, considering the dearth of Prima material available on CD (Bear Family's pricey boxed archive and Capitol's compilation are notable exceptions), this reissue of Louis Prima's Let's Fly with Mary Poppins is a sight for sore ears. Originally released on Buena Vista Records in 1965, Let's Fly features Prima and wife Gia Maione performing Italian versions of "Supercalifragilistic..." and "Stay Awake," in addition to one of the better versions of "Chim Chim Cheree" ever done. As a side note, "Chim Chim Cheree" was apparently used as Prima's audition tape for his casting into The Jungle Book. Prima completists should grab this one; for everyone else, Capitol's Prima compilation is a much better primer. --Jason Verlinde ... Read more

3-0 out of 5 stars It's tough to get old
When I found this re-issue, I was ecstatic because of its rarity. However, in 1965 (the year the album was originally recorded) Louis was becoming a has-been, and though she tries, Gia Maione is no Keely Smith. The banter between the two seems forced, though "The Pefect Nanny" has some fun to it. The only recording that REALLY stands out are Prima's romps through "Chim Chim Cher-ee" and the English version of "Stay Awake" thanks to his excitement on the song, and the driving beat of drummer Jimmy Vincent and the horn section of the Witnesses made up of Sam Butera (Tenor Sax), Lou Sino (Trombone), and Morgan Thomas (trumpet/trombone/sax). If you're a Prima finatic, this CD is definitely for you. For those who dig the tunes with drive such as "Just A Gigolo" or "Jump, Jive, An' Wail," you're better off digging Capitol or Dot Records. ... Read more

1-0 out of 5 stars Waste of hard drive.
One of the best movies ever, gets one of the worst games ever. This game will ruin bowling for anyone. The game is frustrating because the ball will run into objects in the alley, unless you guide the ball with the arrow keys. Guiding the ball is tough, because it only moves a little, not enough to get around an obstical. If you try to move it faster it will go into the gutter. Don't buy this game! In short, this disc is one expensive coaster.

4-0 out of 5 stars I Love It!
It is not an easy game at first. But who wants to win a game right out of the box. Once you get the knack of using the arrow keys to move around the obstacles, it is lots of fun. I am actually addicted. Can't wait to get home and start playing again.

1-0 out of 5 stars Save your $$$$$$
I bought if for my 4 year old, and she lost intrest in less than 5 minutes. When an adult has a rough time playing it - it has to be bad! Keep looking for something else to play.

1-0 out of 5 stars Terrible Game
I got this to play with my sons on the computer because I am terrible at computer games expect for easy games like bowling, etc. My kids are great at games and even they had trouble with this one. It is very difficult to guide the ball around the objects in the alley and the scoring is hard to follow. My kids hate it and want me to throw it out! I wanted to give this a "no star" rating but you have to put in at least one.

5-0 out of 5 stars Bowling with Mike!!!
Sometimes, even Monsters need a break! When players join one eyed Mike Wazowski for a action packed game of bowling, they won't want to stop playing. The game also has great graphics and two difficulty settings-Scary and Horrifying.

In order to make a strike, you'll need to guide your ball. Obstacles such as ramps and pinball style bumpers are all over the bowling alley, so be careful! You can also collect cool power-ups, like one that can make your ball explode upon impact with the pins.

I had SO much fun while playing this thing, and I think anyone who liked the movie will have a blast with this. I really hope Disney will make arcade games as good as this one for some of their other movies, like "The Emporer's New Groove". ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars Great Read-Along!!
This ia a great version of what it is - a read along book. If you're not familiar with read alongs, they are quite simple. The CD reads the book, and there is a tone when it's time to turn the page. It is not the movie. The book and CD is a very abbreviated story; the CD runs about 10 minutes.

Read Alongs are wonderful for a car trip! I bought this and another read-along, and my 3 year old wanted to hear them over and over on a long vacation drive. Her dad and I got quite tired of hearing it, but it was definitely better than crying or whining! The story is narrated and uses the movie actors voices for the Pooh characters. While there is movie background music during the story, none of the songs are included. The paperback book is small, but does have artwork from the movie.

For reading at home, I prefer the Disney Read Aloud version of Piglet's Big Movie, because it is a longer book and includes more of the story. The artwork is also nicer looking on the larger pages.

But for the car or when you just can't stop and read a story, this is a terrific read-along to have.

5-0 out of 5 stars Monsters, Inc. was too scary...Piglet's Big Movie is delight
We really enjoyed the movie at the theater (a couple of times) & have already pre-purchased the dvd. My 3 year old daughter loves "Piglet's Big Movie" and has really enjoyed dancing around & memorizing all the words to the original Walt Disney Records Soundtrack featuring songs by Carly Simon on cd. As for the Read-Along...even though the book is thin, my daughter loves it. I really like how she has to use her listening ears to know that when the chimes sound that it's time to turn the page. I'd definately recommend it! I don't think you need a thick, long book. Children have short attention spans so this is just right! Enjoy the joy it brings to your whole home atmosphere!

5-0 out of 5 stars Piglet's Big Movie Read-Along
I got this for my birthday. As soon as I got it opened, I played it.
I liked this Read-along for some reasons. One: They had taken some lines from the movie. Two: They had realy good music with the parts. Of course, the music that came up when Pooh fell was a tad scary. But as usual, it has a happy ending. Three: Oh, rats. I forgot the next reason.

3-0 out of 5 stars Did not capture the spirit of the movie
My 2-year-old loves read-along stories and adores Pooh. This one, unfortunately, does not capture the spirit of the feature film. No songs, none of the cute little background stories/flashbacks that were present in the movie. So, this read-along is a little thin. Boring, actually. ... Read more

I am so thrilled to find that this is being sold on cd! I can remember singing Macho Duck and Disco Mickey Mouse with my brother on road trips. We would would listen to the tape over and over and over again. We were little then, but our dad wasn't, and he loved the music just as much as us! Those were great memories. I am excited that I can now share them with my own children.

5-0 out of 5 stars Childhood memories
I'm amazed to find that I'm not the only one who still knows these classics. I got the LP years ago when it came with two old issues (107 and 108, if I remember correctly) of the German comic book "Lustiges Taschenbuch". I still have it. Heck, I'm listening to "Macho Duck" (my personal all-time favourite) right now!

I've got so many wonderful childhood memories with this music that it's very hard to describe my feelings. My judgement is most likely covered by nostalgia, but I still recommend "Mickey Mouse Disco" to everyone. You won't be disappointed.
