Great, love it.
The CD plays itself for read along on the computer which is wonderful. The cassette and book is fun for read along. Good for 1-2, great for 2 and up. If your kids love the movie, they will love this.

The best of Pooh & Tigger too
The CD is great for the young, 2-4 year old age group. Pooh is a character that they connect with. I bought this for entertainment & my age range needs to be broader but it is great for the very young-a good value!

Great Old Familiar Songs With A New Twist
This album is great. My two year old son immediately recognized most of the songs. The reason for a four star rating instead of five stars is there are some songs that I've never heard before that are more aimed at an older audience, instead of preschool age as all the other songs are aimed. The trouble with most all-instrumental lullaby collections is that the second they're removed from their crib-side setting, they become indistinguishable from elevator music. Given that the contemporary melodies Disney chose for Lullaby & Goodnight (the Beatles, James Taylor and Cat Stevens) are adapted, the track listing alone makes it seem particularly vulnerable. Great For People Who Love Disney Movies
I think that this CD is the best thing for young kids who love Disney movies! The songs are the best ones from the movies, and they are a lot of fun to sing along with. I listen to the CD so much, that I know every song!!!

Buy this CD!
This CD is a wonderful collection of some 25(!) of the most beloved Disney hits. Indeed, the songs on this CD are all songs from the great Disney movies that you remember from your childhood. There's "Someday My Prince Will Come" from Snow White, "Colonel Hathi's March" from the Jungle Book, and "Chim Chim Cher-ee" from Snow White. What's also wonderful is that the hits are from the great Disney movies right up to the present, which such songs as "Beauty and the Beast" from the movie of the same title.

My whole family loves these songs, and often sings along with them. As a wonderful bonus, we were not aware of "Minnie's Yoo Hoo!" which sounds like a 1920s, snappy little tune, and my children often play it twice and even three times in a row.

Buy this CD you won't regret it!

60 Years of Musical Magic
This wonderful disc from Disney includes some great musical memories from some of their most beloved movies.

Included here on this first volume are some great tracks including a selection from SUMMER MAGIC ("The Ugly Bug Ball" performed by Burl Ives), the title song from THE MONKEY'S UNCLE (performed with a youthful verve by Annette Funicello and the Beach Boys), "A Whale of a Tale" from 20, 000 LEAGUES UNDER THE SEA (performed by Kirk Douglas) and three tracks from MARY POPPINS ("Chim Chim Cher-ee", "A Spoonful of Sugar" and "Jolly Holiday").

The idea of issuing musical selections from Disney films, features and other areas of their world of entertainment is really quite pleasing. If you love the world that Walt Disney created and has continued on to this day, this CD gives you little musical vignettes across that span of time that are very nostalgic and uplifting. I really love Track 13: THE MONKEY'S UNCLE sung by Annette Funicello and The Beach Boys. Track 4: "Under the Sea" from THE LITTLE MERMAID is just wonderful. This is a great CD.

great for kids and adults alike
We purchased this CD at Disney World and listened to it many times over on the 16 hour drive home to Ohio. Neither the kids nor the adults ever tired of it. It is very high energy and is fun to pass the time in the car on family trips! I highly recommend it!

Wonderful!
My kids & I love La Vida Mickey! It makes us dance around the house -- very upbeat and fun music. Music that the parents can enjoy also. We would recommend it to everyone!

Wonderful Disney Fun!
My daughters need a break to dance to music that is not on the TV every once in a while! This is hip hop current music that they ask for! I love the Latin flavor too...we are non-Latinas so it's great exposure for different types of music. My husband will be glad to listen to a great set of tunes in the car that isn't Barney or Book on Tape! Way to go Disney!

Disney's Princess Lullaby Album shines light on a key children's release from 2001: Jason Falkner's Bedtime with the Beatles collection. The arrangements here are dripping with keyboards and swathed in strings, but the simple formula--translating familiar melodies and mellowing the music to sweet, soporific levels--works well. And, to be fair, these aren't Beatles tunes. But the Disney songs are recognizable enough that the youngster in need of music as a sleep aid won't be, so to speak, in the dark. My 4-year-old daughter LOVES this!
We've had this CD for nearly a year and my 4-year-old daughter has listened to it literally EVERY night. Purchased it for her during a time in which she was having trouble going to sleep each night and kept making excuses to come out of her room at bed-time. This CD was a dream come true. It has become a very important part of her bedtime routine. We put it on after we finish reading and are ready to leave her to sleep for the night. Sometimes we hear it playing softly during the night or early in the morning, as she will put it back on if she wakes up during the night. It really helps her to sleep! We always take it on vacation, and even had to go out searching for one during a beach vacation last summer as her baby brother got hold of it and scratched it. Thank goodness we were able to find another copy! My daughter's quote about this cd: "It makes me feel like I'm floating on a dream." Enough said! :o)

A great CD from a great shop.
i bought this CD as a gift for my friend. I just wanted to say sorry to her because I had made her angry but it seem very hard for me to say this. Just when I wander around Amazon.com and I found this CD. It looks so cute. I came up with an idea that to make this one as a gift for her. Wow, she really loves it. I love it also. All beautiful songs. I like Disney movies and soundtracks very much. Next time I'll buy a pack of Disney's Greatest Hits.

Slumberful!
I was given this cd as a gift for my newborn daughter and it is wonderful! I am buying it again because it is starting to skip I have played it so much. It doesn't get old and I even enjoy falling asleep to it while I am listening to the baby monitor.

We received this as a gift right after our daughter was born. Our daughte is now 5 weeks old, and let's just say she has a hard time going to sleep sometimes. We now find ourselves listening to this CD several times a day, and although it doesn't help her go to sleep, we love it! The Best Dinsey Collection
This expansive and detailed collection of Disney music is the best out there. I've had mine since it came out in 1991, and I can't tell you how many times I've played each of it's three CD's!

CD 1 starts off with the first Disney song in a cartoon, 'Turkey in the Straw' from Steamboat Willie and travels through the years (and 27 tracks) to The Sword and the Stone with 'Higitus Figitus'. Along the way films such as Pinocchio, Fantasia, Melody Time, Song of the South, Treasure Island and Sleeping Beauty are covered.

CD 2 picks things up in 1962 with 'Supercalifraglisticexpialidocious', and runs through 20 tracks to 1991's 'Beauty and the Beast'. No rare songs are included on this disc, but a song or two from each animated film made in this time period is nothing to balk at.

CD 3 heads in a new direction (that of live action, cartoon series and the Theme Parks) and serves up many gems and rarely heard recordings. Some of the 31 tracks included are; 'Enjoy It', 'The Ballad of Davy Crockett', 'Mister Piano Man' sung by Annette Funicello, the 'DuckTales Theme', 'Meet Me Down on Main Street', and the entire score for the 'Main Street Electrical Light Parade'!

This set goes one step further by including a 60-page book that illustrates with words, and many full color pictures, Disney's musical legacy and packs it in a record sized keep-sake box. Much of the information in the book is enlightening and it does a superb job of giving backstory to the creation of the songs included. I've refrenced it many times and have always found it helpful.

Yes, this set doesn't include songs from Toy Story, Tarzan or any of the more recent Disney offerings, but remember it was made in 1991. No matter though, over 10 years later, it's still the best and most comprehensive collection to date and believe me, I have enough Disney recordings to know! It's IMPOSSIBLE to be disappointed by this collection!

A must have for Disney Freaks!
This is by far my favorite of Disney Albums. If I could have designed it I would have made the first disc 100% animation, the second for live action and TV, and the third music from the parks.

The only reason that the score isn't higher is because I would have liked to have more music from the parks.

That aside, this is a great addition to the CD collection.

A Jewel in the Crown of Disney Music

The box set offers a sampling of timeless classics such as It's A Small World (After All), Zip-A-Dee-Doo-Dah and Someday My Prince Will Come. Not to be missed are some lesser known treasures including The Swamp Fox and Fortuosity. The box set features songs from theme park attractions, animated movies and cartoon shorts. With seventy-seven songs to choose from children and adults alike will be entertained for over twenty hours. The arrangement of songs also adds to the uniqueness of The Music of Disney: A Legacy In Song. Medolies of songs are arranged to compliment each other. Theme park songs are arranged fairly close together to allow an even flow throughout the cd. You will find no choppy arrangements in this compilation. Another feature that impressed me was the value of the box set. With the typical cd ranging from $12.99 to $18.99 for ten songs, it is a great valu! e to find almost eighty songs for about forty dollars. MMC is #1
The is the best cd in the world. Amazon, please make this cd avalible for purchase! My two favorite songs on this album are Flava and Let's Get Together. JC from N'sync was previously on the mickey mouse club. I can't believe it went off the air. This cd has all styles of music from soft ballads to rap. It's awesome. MMC the album is number 1 on my list!

This album is awesome. The MMC was the best show on tv. Millions of people can't believe it went off the air. Keri Russle, JC, and Tony Lucca are all on this cd. Britany Spears was on the MMC but she is not on this cd though. It would have been better though. This cd is totally cool. Everyone should buy it. MMC is #1!!!

MMC Rocks the House!
I love this CD! I bought it when it first came out and I still love it! The songs on this album are great for any mood that you're in, starting with "Flava" all the way to "Let's Get Together."
"Hanging on for Dear Life" is my favorite song on this CD because the lyrics are great and I think Jennifer's voice is awesome!

VERY ENTERTAINING AND FEATURES REGIS PHILBIN BUT TOUGH
Being one of the games I longed for during our vacation... During the week we were visiting Atlanta I tried very hard to win the million every day but the questions are so darn tough. This was the only game I wanted to play throughout the entire trip. I just couldn't win And Regis's discouraging made me almost ready to cry. Then guess what a few days after our vacation I WON!!! and I was so glad i had finally won it. Millionaire 3rd edition could use some improvement and should be given more downloadable questions other than the 15 you only get in the question packs. Buy it and you won't be disapointed. Who Wants To Be A Millionaire Third Edition was one of the last editions for the P.C. made with Regis Philbin. Still, he still has his zany and enduring way with handling people made him a very big hit with audiences all over the U.S.A. It is just a shame that he is no longer hosting Millionaire anymore. Instead, one of the people from The View is taking over. Unbelieveable, isn't it.

What makes Who Wants To Be A Millionaire different, the third time around, is that the questions are a little bit more complex. Not only that, but if you go to a certain website, you can download new question patches to play all about Millionaire. Unfortunately, those patches that you can download, contain only 15 questions anyway in the main seat, but in the fast finger category, there are more. I really enjoyed spending time with the game, it is just a shame that it isn't fun anymore like it was in primetime on ABC.

The reason why I'm giving it a 3, is because the only way I could've won the million, is because I downloaded the patches from the net. If you want to be a millionaire, I suggest you buy this game. You're not going to win a real million, it is just a game. If you're also a fan of Regis Philbin, I also suggest you get this too, final answer.

I bought this game for my Dad, a longtime fan of the TV show. A new PC user, he had no problem getting the hang of the controls in this user friendly game. I am giving this game a great rating because of how much my Dad is enjoying it. Cover tunes, nothing to do with Disney
The cover to the CD shows the Goofy character. However, nothing on the CD package explains what this truly is. What I mean is, with Disney and this CD in particular, you don't quite know what you are getting. Some CDs have the Disney characters singing the lead vocals, others have people singing the lead vocals with vocal overlays by Disney characters, and this CD features no Disney characters singing on it at all, despite the cover illustration being somewhat misleading, if not simply confusing. I would prefer if the label somehow indicated if the songs are sung by characters or not, etc.

This CD features artists imitating popular songs that span decades. These are "adult" songs, not children's songs. The vocals are by artists who sound very much like the original singers, and to that end Disney should be commended. The tracks selected range widely in type of music. I don't necessarily think these are songs that children would be attracted to. For example, if your children like 50's pop, why not listen to entire CDs of 50's pop?

I suggest you browse the tracks on this CD, listen to the samples, and make your decision based on whether you like these songs, or whether you think your children will like these songs. Just realize that the music selected here has nothing to do with Disney movie soundtracks or Disney characters.

For those young [at heart]
Years ago, I purchased this album, being a fan of all things Winnie-the-Pooh.

Although I enjoy the lyrics from the Disney series and movies, I do not agree with some of the interpretations. I most enjoyed the performances by The Chieftans, however!

This music is perfect for children of all ages.
When my seven-year old daughter's tape broke, we were distraught--then we thought of ordering a CD from Amazon. Not only did we get it in record time and at a savings, but now we can all go to sleep again, dreaming of the 100 Acre woods.

Good collection for young children
Most young children between 5-9 like pop music. Today's videos are too provocative, so my son doesn't get to see them. (I think they are for older kids anyway) The radio disney series offers many good pop songs that are not offensive. I highly recommend the whole series for this age group.

Better than the other two!
This is good for the third series in Radio Disney. My most favorite song is Tik N' Tak's "Upside Down". My other favorite songs on here are "How Do I Feel", "All Star", Jumpin' Jumpin', "Don't Say You Love Me", "Vacation", "Dancing In the Street" and "If you Wanna Dance". The Hampster Dance song is the worst on the entire cd and is a very childish song. I also don't like "Thinking About You" by Britney Spears and it's definitely time for her to start making a new album soon. This CD is good and I can't wait until the Jams Vol. 4 CD comes out in September.

Not as fun as the first two Kids Jams
My kids (6 & 9) love the Kids Jams 1 & 2, as well as La Vida Mickey. Part of what makes these collections fun is that they are a good mix of pop music & silly kid songs. The Vol. 3 is lacking in the "silly kid songs". It's predominantly pop songs and a little less appropriate mix than the previous CD's. The upside is that this CD contains the beloved "Hampster Dance". If you haven't bought any of the Kids Jams CD's, I would start with one of the first two, not this one.

What happened here?!
I have to say that I don't like Radio Disney's Kid Jams volume 3 all that much. It just doesn't really have very good songs. A lot of them are pretty cheesy and corny, especially that Hamster Dance song - - it is just so annoying! The only songs I really like are the ones by Smash Mouth and Britney. But where's the Backstreet Boys? Where's Aaron Carter? The CD is just not the same without them! And what happened to all of the good songs that came from volume 2? Sorry, but this is just not my thing.

Another Radio Disney CD!
Being a huge Radio Disney freak, I had to get this CD the first day it hit the shelves!Hearing the clips in the radio commercial, I knew that this was an awesome sounding CD. As I expected, Radio Disney's special rewrites of "Jumpin' Jumpin'" and "Dance With Me" were included. I really liked two songs that I never heard on Radio Disney until the Jams 3 launch party: Britney's "Thinkin' Of You" and Bowling For Soup's "Valentino". The only downfall is that Disney Records stopped putting one of I-8 Paste's (Just Plain Mark and Zippy) on the album. I happen to really like those. (They weren't on the Holiday Jams either!) ... Great Deal
My daughter and I like this boxed set of Children's Favorite Songs. I was a little reluctant to buy it because it had no reviews on Amazon but after confirming with customer service that it was a genuine Disney release, albeit imported from Australia, I decided to just take a chance. 4 CDs for [$$$] -- it's a great deal. Fun Disney Hits!
A very fun compliation of Disney songs from newer movies like Hercules, way back to the classic Snow White. If you like Disney at all, this CD is a MUST have!

A Sing Along
This album, like its predecessor, is an awesome compilation of classic and modern Disney hits. You don't have to be five years old to enjoy this collection. Case in point: both my sister-in-law and myself own both the Disney Princess albums, so when we travel together its playing 90% of the time. Even my brother enjoys it. We ALL sing along!!!

Another great volume to a great collection. My fave songs are I Won't Say(I'm In Love), There's Only One Ariel, and Out of Thin Air. Another Repackaging Of Princess Favorites
When is Disney ever going to realize that recycling Disney Princess songs aren't such a good idea? As a Disney Princess fan since I was really little I have always enjoyed Disney princess songs. But i am so so so so sick and tired about on just about every Disney album dedicated solely to the Disney Princesses Disney always always ALWAYS has a habit of recycling old princess songs instead of adding new princess songs. I mean people already own half the songs on Princess Favorites and can buy them on the film soundtracks or the Disney princess collection cd. Why I think this cd was released is that Disney was trying to promote the movie Cinderella II Dreams Come True as the songs from that movie are on this cd. But heck one of the songs Put it Together is also on the SUPERSTAR HITS cd. So while this cd may be a redone version of Princess Collection Volume #2 please Please Please PLEASE do not buy,

Whose Princess Favorites???
I would classify only 3 of the songs on this CD as Princess Favorites - Belle, Kiss The Girl and Once Upon A Dream. The rest are either not Princess songs or not favorites.

My daughter is a huge Disney Princess fan, and wants to hear the songs from the Princess movies non-stop. She's only 3, but she does know her princesses, and the girl from Hercules and Nala from the Lion King are definitely NOT princesses! This is also the first time that I've seen Mulan grouped with the princesses.

We wanted music from the classic Disney Princess movies that she loves - Cinderella, Snow White, Beauty & The Beast, Sleeping Beauty, Aladdin and The Little Mermaid. I do not put Cinderella 2 and Aladdin and the Forty Thieves in that category - were those even released in the theaters, or direct to video?

I am generally a fan of the Disney compilations, but this one feels like a marketing rip-off. Get the Disney Classics 5 CD set if you really want the Princess Favorites - they may be spread out over all the discs, but they are the songs you want to hear!

Save your money!
A friend gave this CD to my little girl for her 5th birthday...she was thrilled to get it. The thrill ended as soon as it was played. She wanted to know where the Princesses were.
There is no Ariel...just a song by Sebastian. No Cinderella, no Snow White, and why would they place an unknown song from the Broadway musical Beauty and the Beast which only has been heard by the people attending the musical?? At least Sleeping Beauty made the grade. My daughter has the movie Cinderella II which the CD promotes, but is not familiar with them to really enjoy these 4 songs.
Again, save your money...some day maybe Disney will set aside some of their money and marketing hunger and put out a CD that any 5 year old princess will enjoy singing along with...BTW isn't Beauty and the Beast being re-released...oh yea, thats why that endless song about Belle is on there..Bon Jour!

This CD is awesome! There are four songs on the CD from Cinderella II, with Brooke Allison giving it her all and shining brightly. The new version of Bibbidi Bobbidid Boo is wonderful! They took the classical version from long ago and gave it a new twist which is sure to delight everyone of all ages! If you have enjoyed Walt Disney forever, like myself, or are just tuning in, you will love this album!!!!!!:)
